I’m Britni, the writer behind this blog. I love the joy of an exceptional book and examining how the words we read shape us.

As a child, I was an avid reader. A decade and a half in a draining career zapped my mental energy and pulled me away from books for far too long. Now, on a path better suited to who I am, I am revelling in the joy of reading again and exploring genres I never have before.

Outside of books, I love all things purple, my two cats, and sharing my world through writing and poetry.
